Wassup to everyone that's taking the time to read this! I'll be your GEO Treasurer for the 2002-2003 school year. That's right, I'll be handling all the money coming in and out of the club. It's also my responsibility to make sure that you, the members, are having the best time during these GEO trips. So if you have any problems concerning anything, talk to me and I'll be more than happy to help you. Now, onto more important matters: me, myself, and I! Haha, that was pretty conceited wasn't it? Anyway, I'm involved in various activities and organizations within the school. Instrumentally, I enjoy playing the Alto Saxophone for the Band, and I started taking piano lessons almost 3 years ago. I'll admit it to you right now: I can't sing. But for the heck of it, you might catch me singing some tunes here and there. (Please don't be so critical with my vocal abilities.) Besides GEO, I'm also the Junior-class Treasurer, and in the Finance Committee in the ASB Cabinet. I guess you could say I'm into money and all the calculations and computations that come along with it. I'll make an effort in bridging these 3 positions so that everything flows smoothly. As for sports, when the Spring season comes, I'll be in the Badminton team. So what about my likes and dislikes? This is weird, I feel like I'm on blind date: Well-- for typical dates, I'm a great sucker for long walks on the beach, stopping to gaze at the vibrant colors of the setting sun, and to top it off, stretch out on a cozy blanket and count how many stars there are in the sky.  Haha, how corny is that? But between you and me and in spite of the laughs, I'm still waiting for orders--if you know what I mean. For my free time, I like to sleep because who knows how little I'm getting on school nights. Other times, when I'm not so sleepy, I spend my time watching movies, and a couple shows here and there. One of my favorite TV shows is Friends. I love MAD TV and SNL too! Anyway, I think listening to music is also a great way to kill time. I pretty much enjoy listening to all types and genres of music, but not all. I spend most of my time listening to Rap, Hip Hop, R&B, and slow jams. OK, I think you've had enough. (If not, you could e-mail me, AIM with the same screen name, or ask me in person!) I hope that you feel a little bit closer to me, and more comfortable talking to me about anything. Can I assume that by now, you have obtained a GEO membership? If not, then go soon because it's going to be an incredible year after all, I am your treasurer. I strongly encourage all of you to go on all of the GEO events that will take place this year. Go check out the calendar if you haven't already and make sure you have no plans on those Fridays and Saturdays! I'm excited and really looking forward to meeting some new faces this year!
