Sup Bulldogs! I’ll be your 2008-2009 GEO Secretary, so it’s only fair you know a little bout me =D.

Hmmmm let’s see, I’m a Junior, I play badminton, I love green, I have 5 AP classes, I’m deadly afraid of spiders or fast, small bugs, and I’ll be the weirdest person you’ll EVER meet! Of course, that’s up to you to decide, but I can almost guarantee it xD.

I first joined GEO out of curiosity last year, and during one of those “oh god, I need to get away from school” moments, I dared to go on one of these fantastically scenic hikes, after which I fell in love with the club.  I mean come on!  You get away from all the noise and pollution of the city into some beautiful landscape where you hike and reconnect with nature!  What more can a Beekenite hope for?  Ever since that fateful day, I’ve participated in many of GEO’s activities! I eventually got to host a Japanese student in this awesome exchange program!  We had so many memorable moments as we bonded over the very short week.  Of course, the good-bye was extremely overwhelming, but I got to see him again when I went to their school to complete the exchange program!  It’s truly an experience that will change your whole view on their world and ours.

So basically, I want YOU to get out and see the world instead of going to our boring mall every fricken Friday, or watching those rerun of COPS on Saturdays.  Wouldn’t you rather boulder hop up a river, discover a refreshing palm oasis in the middle of an unforgiving desert, or swim under a waterfall where the temperature freezes your balls off???  I sure do!  Well maybe not the last one…

So come to M-1 and sign up for the most adventurous club on campus, where we’ll have more people in more places!  Are you in?
