2003-2004

Hey all you Geo members, I’ll be your GEO secretary for the 2003-2004 school year. That’s right! I’ll will be in charge and keep track of all the paperwork.  Paperwork rules us all! HAHA I’m just kidding! Over the summer, the officers and I have worked hard to plan a fun-filled year with many new events as well as returning favorites for everyone. We hope that every one of you guys will attend these events and become an active participant.

Well since you already here, you might as well get to know me. By the way, if you just click on the wrong link, that’s too BAD. This website has disables the back button so you must stay and read my profile. No, I’m just joking again… about the back button being disabled.  Well to start off, I’m 17 years old and will turn 18 in February (HINT, HINT). I’m currently a senior at WCHS and I have sister who also attends the same school. Since I'm not allowed to give out my name (some legal issue, I’m guessing) I will have to assume an alias. But since you’re here I’m guessing you already know my name so let’s continue on shall we. I love cracking jokes and it's not uncommon that you’ll be laughing at the most inappropriate times, for examples the death of Walt Disney (right Sun Goddess). I’m also very outgoing and love meeting new people.  When I’m hyper I become wild, so if I have had any sugar you might think I’m crazy but I’m not, I can actually be serious at times.

When I’m not busy doing GEO stuff, you can find me working hard on the yearbook as I am one of the section editors and also the vice president of the yearbook club. I’m also the director of activities for the Leo’s club and a link leader for those freshmen on campus.  But with all of these responsibilities I have, I still find time for GEO. When I have spare time, which I do have often, I like to spend it, hanging out with friends, surfing the net, eating and going to new places (another reason I love GEO) and watching television for I will ALWAYS make time for T.V. You'll see that  I'm an entertainment guru and know the latest news about television shows and celebrity gossip, so don't be afraid to ask me (can't you see I have no life?) J/K

As you finish reading my profile some of you aren’t still members yet, why not? Are you wondering why I join GEO in the first place? Well, I joined GEO my sophomore year in high school because I was fascinated that this club lets you experiences different things besides doing community service.  I loved everything we did and to be able to get a chance as an officer to plan all the activities and make everyone’s experiences as joyful and pleasant as mine, was something I really wanted to do.

GEO has shown me the other side of Southern California , with things I never knew would have existed if it weren’t for being in this club.  This club really wants you to “go out and see the world” and offers you many chances to do that, simply by joining us in a hike, eating out, seeing different cultural attractions, and a chance to become an exchange student, by traveling to Japan . I went to Japan this year as part of the exchange program and that was an experience I will never forget.  I recommend that if you ever have a chance to go that you shouldn’t pass up the opportunity. Don’t forget we’ll here for you and without you, there is no GEO.  So if you ever have any questions, comments, concerns don’t hesitate to stop by S2.  With everything we do …"GEO is it in you?"
