HI! My name is Sara Guzman, I’m a Libra, and I like tacos. I am your
2000-2001 GEO Secretary. This is my junior year at WCHS, and my second
year as a slave to GEO. Actually, GEO is a great club to be in; in my
opinion it is the best club on campus! No other club does so many
activities and has so many active
members.
OK, enough about GEO, and on to my favorite subject…ME !!! Well, as I said, I am a junior. Extra-curricular activities seem to run my entire life! Being the secretary of GEO, the president of art club, and a stat girl for the wrestling team seems to keep my life busy and hectic. Don’t get me wrong…I’m not at school 24/7. I too have a social life, believe it or not! Movies are my passion, from foreign and independent to mainstream and box office favorites, I am the one who is always first to see the latest flick. Some of my favorites include Run Lola Run, American Beauty, Stigmata, Clueless, and The Exorcist.
Besides being an avid movie goer, I enjoy shopping, listening to music, and traveling. Some of my favorite bands/artists include, The Smashing Pumpkins, Portishead, Fiona Apple, Jamiroquai, and Weezer. As far as my traveling experience goes I have been to about 12 of the 50 states, Mexico, and Japan (thanks to GEO of course!)
Well, in closing I would like to thank those of you that have joined GEO. You don’t know how much work the 4 of us have out into this club. To those of you that have just happened to stumble upon our little web page and are not GEO members…WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?? These are your high school years. A time that will one day mold you all into responsible, law abiding adults. GEO is here to help you live your life to the fullest until that horrible day comes! So if you see one of your friends in the hall, and they are complaining about how boring their lives are, ask them one simple question…
